School Trips to Matterhorn!
Fall Tours from the last week of September through the first week of November

We are under renovation and will not be able to offer school trips for the 2011-2012 school year. We regret the inconvenience and thank you for all of your support.
Please note: the best way to book a tour is via email. Send a message to kristen@matterhornnursery.com with the following information: School, Grade, Number of Children, Your Name, Contact Phone Number, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice of dates. Thank you!
Matterhorn offers the unique opportunity for students to learn about the natural environment in a hands-on, experiential way through our very own Environmental Trail. The Matterhorn Trail features learning stations that illustrate animal adaptation, habitat identification, fun facts about local flora and fauna, and other environmental concepts. Tours are led by our team of guides, who also provide a basic introduction to Matterhorn and its magnificent gardens, woodlands, natural ponds, and greenhouses. The tour is designed for Nursery-Grade 5 and encourages children to explore the natural world and to participate in nature preservation through gardening and outdoor living. Tours include the Trail, a visit to Aquatics to meet our Koi fish, a fun-filled seasonal hayride to our Animal Friends, and a miniature pumpkin, snack, and juice. To learn more about our School Tours or to obtain current pricing and/or a current flier please phone 845.354.5986 or email kristen@matterhornnursery.com.
